Puppy Training / Puppy Courses
Our puppy training consists of a seven week comprehensive course, in the form of one hour training sessions. There are six participants per group, allowing for lots of 1:1 training time with each pup! The course covers all of the areas your puppy will need to give them the best start in life, including socialisation, loose lead walking, basic obedience and recall. Throughout the course, you and your pup will have fun, strengthen your bond and achieve new goals. At the end of the course you will receive a rosette to commemorate all your hard work!
Recall Workshops
Our recall workshop will be held at Burt’s Haven Freedom Field in Wrangle. This is an enclosed space, allowing you and your dog the freedom to relax and learn some valuable skills and develop an unmatched level of trust. We will work in a small group of six participants, providing ample distraction, as well as socialisation. The pups will strengthen their recall in the form of fun games, allowing you and your dog to enjoy each session as you learn.
Dog Training
Dog Courses
For those coming out of our puppy course, or for those with older dogs, we will be holding general dog training classes. These will tackle any issues you and your dog are facing, as well as developing new training skills for you to apply to other areas of your life.
Fun Trick Training
Fun trick training will help to strengthen the bond between you and your dog while you both have lots of fun, with a more relaxed training environment. As well as giving you some great bragging rights to your friends, these classes will also provide some fantastic foundations so apply to other areas of your training.
Fun Agility
Foundation Training
Agility is a great way for both you and your dog to stay active. This is a high energy form of training which will include lots of jumps and tunnels for your dog to have fun and expel lots of energy! We will be training at a beginner level and training is adaptable to dogs and trainers of all ages and abilities.
Dog Sitting
As much as we all love the time we spend with our dogs, we all find ourselves in situations where they are unable to tag along. This is where we come in! We provide trustworthy service, allowing you peace of mind that your pup is well looked after and comfortable. We will have an initial meeting to get to know you and your dog, covering all areas of their routine; meaning you can be confident this will be closely followed and we can provide a familiar face for unsure pups.
Dog Walking
We all know our dogs love to get out for a walk and burn some energy, but it's not always something that fits into our everyday lives; we’re here for those days. We will have an initial meeting to get to know you and your dog, covering all areas of their routine; meaning you can be confident this will be closely followed and we can provide a familiar face for unsure pups.
Food Enrichment Workshop
In addition to our training services, we also provide information-based workshops for your pup. In this workshop we delve into the possibilities of food-based enrichment. We cover lots of different types of enrichment from snuffle matts to stuffed Kongs, the benefits of each and recipes and demonstrations to help you get the most out of these tools. The workshops are run by Lucy who is a student veterinary nurse and who is keen to share the knowledge and tips that she applies to her own dogs!
